my story

From my early years in high school, I developed a deep connection to drawing. What started as putting pencil to paper evolved into a visual language of patterns, bold colors, and a curiosity for interpreting the world around me. Over the past 15 years, that curiosity has grown into a creative practice spanning illustration, graphic design, painting, exhibitions, and public art—and, honestly, a wealth of superpowers.
I went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Bellevue College, where I studied experiential design, architectural elements, design philosophy, and the many ways environments can shape how we feel, connect, and experience the world.
For a while, I thought I was destined to become a chingona (badass) interior designer in Los Angeles. Little did I know that was only the beginning—that the creative seed I was nurturing had a lot more growing to do.
Today, I’m a marketing professional with nearly a decade of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. My work lives at the intersection of strategy and creativity: translating complex information into clear, persuasive messaging and stories people can actually connect with.
Outside of work, I’ve supported projects that strengthen community programs throughout King County—from expanding access to healthy, affordable food to celebrating culture and building resilience alongside community-based organizations and low-income families. Across these projects, I’ve brought my creative lens to custom graphic design and illustration, using visual storytelling to give ideas a little more life.
What I enjoy most is finding the story behind a project—understanding the soul purpose and shaping that into a narrative that resonates with people.
Outside of work, I'm an illustrator and emerging public artist. My creative practice includes illustration, graphic design, painting, gallery exhibitions, and public art. I enjoy exploring how visual storytelling can foster connection and contribute to vibrant communities. I'm always interested in connecting with professionals working in marketing, creative strategy, and the arts.
I’m still nurturing that original creative seed, letting it grow in directions I never could have predicted. These days, I’m less interested in defining where it ends and more interested in seeing how far it can grow. The possibilities feel limitless.
My creative practice includes illustration, gallery exhibitions, and public art. I love exploring how visual storytelling can foster connection and contribute to vibrant communities.
